Hon'ble Chief Minister of West Bengal launched an extraordinary scheme to help students without any financial constraints. This scheme will provide financial support to students to pursue secondary, higher secondary, madrasah, undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in any school, college, university, and other affiliated institutes within and outside India. Those students studying for competitive exams like Engineering, Medical, Law, IAS, IPS, WBCS etc, also can get a loan through this scheme. A student can get a maximum loan of Rs. 10 lakhs at 4% per annum with simple interest from State Cooperative Bank, and Central Cooperative Bank. The upper age limit to obtain this scheme is 40 years. This scheme will help lots of students come from poor financial backgrounds.
