- Eligibility Criteria for Akiyashree Scholarship
The applicant has to be a student. Studying in school, College or Institute is recognized by the governing board or university.
- The student applying for the scholarship must be from the state of West Bengal.
- Students from Class 1 to PhD level can apply under this program.
- Applicants must have at least 50% marks in the previous class.
- For the application, the family income of the students is not more than 2 lakhs per annum.
- Since this scholarship is for minorities. So All SC / ST / OBC students can apply.
- For girls up to class XII. The government has started Bigyani Kanya Medha Britti Scholarship.
- Also, financial aid is given to Hindi students through Hindi Scholarship Program.
